On May 28th, the 28th China Content Broadcasting Network Exhibition (CCBN2021), themed "Smart All-Media, 5G New Audio-Visual", opened in Beijing. The exhibition focused on the construction of radio and television 5G, the innovative development of smart radio and television, the deep integration of media development, and the innovative application of high-tech video.
Zhu Yonglei, member of the Party Leadership Group and Deputy Director of the National Radio and Television Administration, mentioned at the themed report meeting on the 27th that "smart" is the direction, the inevitable trend for radio and television to adapt to the iterative evolution of emerging technologies, and the inevitable requirement for the transformation, upgrading, and innovative development of radio and television; "5G" is an opportunity, a re-empowerment of radio and television, and an active action for the radio and television industry to implement the mobile-first strategy.
Through the product, business, and solution exhibitions at this year's CCBN, we can gain a deeper understanding of the intelligent evolution trend of radio and television as well as online audio-visual under the 5G environment. For instance, we can see the continuous deepening of technological applications such as 5G, AI, cloud computing, and big data. Another example is the integration of large TV screens with numerous vertical industries like education, healthcare, and government affairs. Furthermore, the advancement of the nationwide one-network and the development of TVOS are also bringing more new changes to the industry.
CCBN2021 featured nearly 1,000 enterprises and institutions from over 30 countries and regions worldwide, occupying all 12 exhibition halls and outdoor exhibition areas of the China International Exhibition Center, covering an exhibition area exceeding 60,000 square meters. It attracted more than 100,000 professional visitors from radio and television bureaus, television stations, radio stations, radio and television operators, relevant ministries and commissions, research institutes, radio and television practitioners, communication, IT, and other industries across the country. Additionally, it hosted over 400 overseas visiting institutions from Europe, America, Africa, Asia-Pacific, and other regions.
